Working with boards is key to effective governance and leadership practices. This course is a must for dental professionals who aspire to leadership roles on the boards of non-profit organizations. Ensuring ethical and effective conduct by board and staff will be discussed.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Focus an organization on a clear mission
2. Provide strategic leadership for securing resources
3. Practice effective outreach with outside stakeholders
