This course is designed to provide the clinical knowledge needed to master single crown preparation and placement. Topics to be discussed include retention and resistance form, margin design, impression techniques, provisional restorations and cementation procedures.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Identify the scientific principles which guide the tooth preparation
2. Select the appropriate margin design for a given restorative material
3. Know the proper sequence for evaluating and adjusting crown fit and occlusion
