While individualizing therapy is key to successful outcomes, risk assessment is integral to determining the most appropriate care for patients. This program demonstrates how proper risk assessment can lead to effective preventive and treatment strategies.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Distinguish between internal and external risk factors
2. Describe various risk assessment methods and possible future strategies
3. Understand the importance of patient co-management based on disease state and risk
