This course will prepare the dental team to provide preventive dental care and treatment for children and pregnant women, using the newest evidence-based practices.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. State why pregnant women should receive treatment and explain care permissible
2. List pregnancy-safe treatments and drugs, and understand disease transmission
3. Provide and understand the science of primary prevention for infants and toddlers
