Dr. Haywood is a professor in the Department of Oral Rehabilitation at the Georgia Health Sciences University School of Dentistry. He co-authored the first publication on nightguard vital bleaching (tray bleaching), and has published 135 articles and a book on bleaching.

Tooth bleaching indications include older adults and children down to age ten. Information for each age group, unusual tooth discolorations treatment and tray options, and answers to patient questions about tray bleaching, in-office and OTC products will be presented.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Complete a bleaching examination and see hydrogen and carbamide peroxide differences
2. Understand indications, limitations and age-specific concerns for bleaching
3. Answer patient questions comparing tray bleaching with in-office and OTC products
