Expand your understanding of the delivery techniques of local anesthesia and some of the difficulties that may arise. Both maxillary and mandibular techniques will be emphasized, including Gow-Gates and Akinosi mandibular blocks, and review of anatomical landmarks and structures.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Present a rational protocol for troubleshooting difficulties in achieving profound LA
2. Describe the anatomy and landmarks commonly used for LA of the maxilla and mandible
3. Compare the advantages and disadvantages of a variety of anesthesia techniques
