She is the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Dental Hygiene. Ms. Wilder is an author, consultant and international speaker.

Oral health may be closely related to systemic conditions such as diabetes, respiratory illness, cardiovascular disease and more. This course will review current evidence on oral and systemic conditions and discuss treatment strategies to use in everyday practice.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Discuss evidence for linkages in periodontal disease and systemic conditions
2. Discuss current recommendations and guidelines related to clinical care of patients
3. Identify resources to obtain information about best practices when treating patients
