The practice of operative dentistry has never been more exciting. Practitioners are challenged by new preventive strategies and the demand for esthetic treatment. Concurrently, the dental materials market is flooded with new products, making materials selection difficult.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Understand current concepts in caries risk management
2. Make an informed decision about what type of posterior restoration to place
3. Recognize some of the new materials and procedures used in operative dentistry

This course is presented in partnership with the ADA's Federal Dental Services (FDS) membership office.
