All dental clinicians have the responsibility to properly and thoroughly assess every patient for any oral abnormality. This course will enable attendees to educate patients on the value of the enhanced oral mucosal exam and successfully manage any areas of concern discovered.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Understand and indentify the patient's oral health risk factors
2. Successfully introduce, explain and perform an enhanced oral mucosal exam
3. Identify mucosal areas of concern and understand what is an appropriate next step
