Detecting mucosal abnormalities is one of the most important responsibilities of the dental clinician. This course will discuss the role and potential benefits and pitfalls that the adjunctive screening technologies such as acetowhitening, tissue fluorescence and cytology play.

2. Understand the roles and values of these adjunctive enhanced technologies
3. Understand if any of these adjunctive technologies may benefit their practice
