Mr. Regan is a 1979 graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Boston. From 1980 through 1985, he worked as a multi-line adjuster for Commercial Union Insurance Company. From April, 1985, until 1993, he worked for The St. Paul Companies as a medical malpractice supervisor.

Dr. Vaselaney is the national director of Dental Risk Management for CNA HealthPro and the Professional Protector Plan for Dentists. He has lectured extensively on various risk management topics and is also the primary author and publisher of CNA HealthPros dental risk management newsletter.

This course will address the management of existing, evolving and emerging professional liability risks and provide attendees with tips and strategies to make prudent decisions that enhance patient care and reduce the risk of a malpractice claim.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Assess and update the risk management practices they currently use
2. Employ record-keeping practices that enhance patient care and reduce malpractice risk
3. Make the informed consent process a critical success factor in patient management
