This class jump starts your disaster preparedness. Learn to assess and respond to natural and man-made events: weather, chemicals, radiation, terrorism, fire and explosions. Leave with a plan and pick up a "Ready 2 Go" pack with some essential supplies.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Recognize types of disasters and describe courses of action
2. Identify primary and secondary biological and disease threats related to disasters
3. Begin the process of preparing a survival pack
