Dr. Crossley received a BS in pharmacy, MS and PhD degrees in pharmacology in 1972 and a DDS degree in 1980. He retired from the University of Maryland Dental School in 2004 as professor emeritus. He was the recipient of the 2008 Gordon Christensen Lecturer Recognition Award.

This fast-paced presentation includes a brief discussion of post-operative pain control, the indications and contraindications of appropriate antibiotic use, and the most significant drug interactions encountered in the dental office.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Combine analgesic medications to maximize their effects
2. Identify maximum doses for commonly prescribed pain medications
3. Identify antibiotics for orthopedic prosthesis patients and those at risk for SBE
