Medical emergencies can, and do, happen in dentistry. Dr. Malamed will discuss the incidence of these problems and the steps involved in preparing the staff and office to effectively recognize and treat those that do occur.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. List the most common medical emergencies seen in dentistry
2. List four steps in preparing the staff and office to recognize and manage these problems
3. Describe the basic management protocol for all medical emergencies
