The population is growing and so are our waistlines! The dental visit isn't just about the mouth--it's about the whole patient. Ongoing research and emerging information regarding diet and nutrition as it relates to oral health will be discussed.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Understand the interrelationship between obesity and oral health
2. Relate the impact of dietary choices to dental patients
3. Encourage food choices for a healthier mouth and body
