Dr. Tom McDonald is a graduate of the University of Georgia and the Medical College of Georgia. He maintains a full-time private practice in Athens, Ga. Since 1983, Dr. McDonald has served on the faculty of the Georgia Health Sciences University School of Dentistry.

The functional principles that define the parameters of esthetics and affect the long-term stability of restorative treatment will be discussed. A step-by-step patient evaluation and treatment planning system will be presented for precise, comprehensive, esthetic and restorative treatment.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Perform a comprehensive patient evaluation for function and esthetics
2. Understand how function can affect the size, shape and position of teeth
3. Understand essential sequencing techniques for stress-free restorative treatment
