An extraction of a maxillary premolar/ridge preservation grafting procedure will be performed using an osseous allograft and barrier membrane. A review of the principles of guided bone regeneration as applied to ridge preservation will be provided.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. List the advantages of ridge preservation
2. Understand the principles of minimally traumatic extraction techniques
3. Contour and place a barrier membrane adjacent to an extraction socket
