Dr. Kinzer is an affiliate assistant professor in the University of Washington School of Dentistry prosthodontic program. He has taught with Frank Spear since 1998, joined the Spear Education faculty in 2009, and has a private practice limited to comprehensive restorative and esthetic dentistry.

Spear Education founder and director Frank Spear is a renowned esthetic and restorative dentistry educator. He earned his DDS and MSD in periodontal prosthodontics from the University of Washington, where he is an affiliate professor in the graduate prosthodontics program.

Esthetic excellence requires treatment planning, technical proficiency and artistry. Some factors must be considered when planning indirect restorations. Drs. Spear and Kinzer present live-patient clinical treatment involving the preparation, impression and provisionalization of maxillary anterior teeth.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Know techniques for controlling the amount of tooth reduction
2. Discuss current thoughts for gingival retraction and margin placement
3. Know techniques to fabricate, custom stain and polish provisional restorations
