If a disaster occurred in your community, would you be prepared? Does your local public health department have enough trained personnel to handle such a disaster? In this lecture, Dr. Cardoza will discuss how you may be called upon to help respond to a major public health disaster.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Know dentistry's potential role in a bioterrorism or mass disaster
2. Recognize the use of dental records in a mass disaster
3. Understand the role of the forensic dentist in a mass fatality
