A graduate of UCLA School of Dentistry, Dr. Wakefield completed a two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency during his career in the U.S. Army. A diplomate of both the Federal Services and American Boards of General Dentistry, he is professor and director, AEGD, Baylor College of Dentistry.

The principles of color, smile design and restoration of esthetic cases for the general dentist will be discussed. Surgery for esthetic anterior crown lengthening will be detailed. Porcelain inlays, onlays and veneers of different types will be presented to provide a sound base to use in practice.

3. Use learned principles to immediately increase confidence with esthetic cases
