This interactive course is designed to sharpen mentoring skills and expertise and raise awareness of the need for mentoring to achieve admission to dental school, especially for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and from areas historically underrepresented in dentistry.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Appreciate and understand the mentoring process
2. Raise awareness of the need for mentoring and enhance needed skills
3. Increase their skills in mentoring students from diverse backgrounds
