Dr. Gardiner graduated from the New Jersey Dental School in 1977. He is the senior general dentist in a multi-specialty practice. For 20 years, he has reviewed malpractice lawsuits as an expert witness. Dr. Gardiner lectures on issues of malpractice throughout the United States.

Clinical documentation is of critical importance in defending dentists in malpractice lawsuits. Dentists and their staffs will learn if their record keeping meets the standard of care. Actual malpractice lawsuits will be analyzed and participants will see how these cases were won and lost in court.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Document their clinical records so that they can defend themselves in a lawsuit
2. Make their clinical records meet accepted standards of care for record keeping
3. Understand why clinical documentation is so important in a malpractice lawsuit
