From the teenage years to the golden years a woman goes through many changes. Some of these changes often have an impact on oral health. This course will focus on the interrelationship between oral health and overall health at various stages throughout the life cycle.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Discuss how diet, hormones and overall health can have an impact on oral health
2. Discuss nutrient needs at various stages of a woman's life
3. Relate dietary choices to optimum oral health during preventive patient care
