Dr. Roser is the DeLos Hill professor and chief of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the Department of Surgery, Emory University School of Medicine. He practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with an interest in facial reconstruction and orthognathic surgery.

Using case-based scenarios, the current guidelines and recommendations for the safe and effective in-office management of surgical patients with common medical conditions will be discussed.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Identify when concomitant medical conditions necessitate changes in management of office patients
2. Incorporate new evidence based medical management guidelines into the management of patients
3. Become familiar with the use of newer medications for the treatment of common medical conditions
