Dr. Higginbottom maintains a private practice of esthetic, restorative and implant dentistry at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He is also a clinical professor in the Restorative Sciences Department and the Graduate Prosthodontics Division at Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry.

Using a maxillary model with tissue- and bone-level implants, participants select and place abutments, attach impression copings and make an impression. Provisional restorations will be fabricated and trimmed. A custom impression coping will be fabricated to construct an anatomic soft tissue model for lab communication.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:1. Perform different impression techniques
2. Understand temporary abutment selection and shaping
3. Fabricate provisional restorations
