An associate board can serve as an advisory group to your organization’s board of directors/ trustees assisting with fundraising, social events and heightening the community’s awareness of the activities of your organization. This board can also serve as a grooming opportunity for future members of your board of directors/trustees as well as major donors. In this session, you will learn how to create, develop and cultivate such a board. Participants will also discuss the benefits that an associate board can bring to an organization, including increased philanthropy from a younger generation.
