Description
Women are the key decision makers in the managing and disposing of wealth, including most philanthropic decisions, so much so, that management guru Tom Peters asserts, “they are the largest economy on earth.” Of the 78 million baby boomers in the U.S. alone, over half are women, one of the most generous of all the demographic groups. Yet, while they have the financial resources and desire to give and make a difference with their giving, they uniquely evaluate whom they give to and why. It is the organization that understands and honors these differences,
communicates in boomer language and involves this group accordingly, that will be best positioned for the coming boomer transfer of wealth and resources.
