Description
Many businesspeople who make the journey to lean soon find their company’s traditional accounting, control, and measurement systems hinder any chance of real success. Too often, performance measurements designed for mass production, accounting methods and standard costing, and complex data-gathering and reporting systems serve to undermine lean. This session will explain how lean accounting can be used for increased control over your lean improvement project.
LEARNER OUTCOMES:
Explain to their colleagues alternative methods of accounting, control, and measurments that are appropriate for lean manufacturing organizations - and are fully compliant with all "generally accepted accounting principles".
