Description
Forecasting and demand planning should be the foundation of profitable operations because they provide a picture of the future that enables professionals to fine-tune material and capacity planning. However, in practice, forecasting often is a difficult and thankless task. Accuracy can fluctuate wildly, and there often are fundamental issues need to be addressed before positive results can be achieved. This presentation will cover several of the most common issues and outline the six key steps that need to be taken to achieve world-class forecasting accuracy.
