Description
A supply chain is a tightly coupled network of information, material, and capital. Until recently, one trading partner’s revenue shortfall would require an isolated strategy and the action of a single company. But today, with the entire system immersed in global recession, a network approach is required. This interactive session will present innovative methods for reconfiguring global supply chains that maintain their value in the face of interrupted demand.
LEARNER OUTCOMES:
- Change the context from the individual organization to a supply chain network
- Describe new ways an end-to-end network can deliver value to its customers
- Focus their APICS education in new directions
