Description
Every company forecasts—some more effectively than others. Businesspeople understand that demand follows known patterns associated with seasonality, promotions, economic conditions, competition, and much more. However, these factors often are overlooked during the forecasting process due to people’s lack of understanding; and this omission results in inaccurate or multiple, competing forecasts. This presentation will explain what factors influence demand and demonstrate common patterns of demand via a simulation. (The Excel-based simulation will be available for your personal use.)
