Janice M. Gullo, CPIM, CSCP, is a lean supply chain master black belt in the Supply Chain Center of Competency Group for the E. I. DuPont Company in Wilmington, Delaware. Her experience focuses on the improvement of business processes using a lean six sigma approach for manufacturing, sales and operations planning, supply chain management, and product development. Janice has a degree in chemical engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She has been a member of APICS since 2005 and is currently serving as Executive Vice-President of the Southern Delaware Valley Chapter. She also serves as a subject matter expert for APICS regarding the Certified Supply Chain Professional learning system.

Description
This session will take you through a three-year undertaking at DuPont that aimed to turn the business into a truly demand-driven enterprise. Employees built foundational demand-management capability in order to more clearly understand what demand management is all about, the necessary steps to improving global capability in a large organization, and the value of making the effort a success.
