Description
Sustainable information technology (IT) is the study and practice of using technology in a manner that supports the planet and includes efficiency and cost reduction in the direct results. IT plays a significant role in environmental sustainability. Historically, the focus has been on data centers; however, the possibilities for improvement are much broader. This presentation will cover the major role that IT can play in reducing environmental impact and your carbon footprint. Real-world case studies will illustrate examples of green improvement, energy-efficient IT design, and lessened environmental impacts.
LEARNER OUTCOMES:
Learn how companies are using energy-efficient information technology design and implementation to help reduce environmental impact and costs.
