Paul Larson, None, Professor and Head, SCM Department, University of Manitoba
Paul D. Larson, Ph.D., is CN Professor of Supply Chain Management at the University of Manitoba, Asper School of Business. He is Head of the supply chain management department and Director of the Transport Institute. Larson earned BSB and MBA degrees at the University of Minnesota, and his Ph.D. at the University of Oklahoma. He has worked with the Ministry of Cooperatives in Fiji and is a recipient of the Academy of Marketing Science/Alpha Kappa Psi award. He also has taught marketing and retailing at the University of Alberta, and purchasing, logistics, and supply chain management (SCM) at the University of Nevada and at Iowa State University. Larson serves on the Editorial Review Boards of the Journal of Supply Chain Management and International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management. He is a former Associate Editor of the Journal of Business Logistics. His current research interests include the analysis of transportation cost, service and sustainability; inland ports; supply chain risk management; not-for-profit (NFP) supply chains; and humanitarian logistics.
