Description
When the stakes for resolution are high, achieving business alignment when managing multiple teams can present a challenge. This roundtable discussion will present a new multi-step technique for issue resolution when agreement appears to be out of reach. This session will enable you to:

Determine whether alignment has been achieved among teams working on a project.
Identify, handle, and resolve conflict among teams using the two presented techniques.
Present the facts of an issue without bias to bring objectivity and opportunity for consensus to a discussion.
Adapt the presented techniques to your personal style to improve your ability to lead teams with multiple stakeholders.

LEARNER OUTCOMES:
  • Assess when Agreement is either in alignment or not.
  • Describe the use of these techniques, identify when they are most applicable and teach others their use.
  • How to state the obvious in an impartial manner,presenting the facts of the issue without bias. This is a little-used practice that teaches objectivity and brings opportunity to the discussion.
  • Learning and applying these new practices in a manner that is in alignment with your personal style.
