2014 Spring Refresher Course

Program Highlights
ASTRO's Spring Refresher Course provided a comprehensive review of disease site treatment management, evidence-based guidelines, best practices, safety issues and contraindications. At the end of the program, attendees should be able to apply the information provided in daily practice applications and in preparation for board examinations.

• Interactive and didactic lecturers covered the major disease sites.
• Clinical sessions connected radiation physics, radiobiology, safety and quality.
• Attendees examined the biological effects of exposure to ionizing radiation.
• Attendees had the opportunity to earn SA-CME credit by participating in any of the four Live SAMs offered.
