Mary Connick, CPA, VP Finance and Corporate Controller, Catholic Healthcare West
Mary Connick has been a driving force in healthcare financial management for over 30 years. Her leadership at St. Mary’s Medical Center resulted in a total net income improvement in excess of $24 million in just eight years. Her extensive achievements there led her to Catholic Healthcare West in 1996 where she was responsible for the vast increase in operations effectiveness and efficiency and also served as interim Chief Financial Officer .Mary is responsible for defining and defending organization-wide financial reporting, accounting standards, financial planning and the overall advancement of the company’s current and future financial health.
William Robinson, CPA, FHFMA, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Shands HealthCare
William Robinson serves as SVP&CFO for Shands HealthCare System,which includes 2 academic medical centers, four community hospitals and two specialty hospitals in northeast Florida. Mr. Robinson previously served as SVP & CFO for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, SVP & CFO for Pathway Health Network, SVP & CFO Valley Regional Health System, VP Finance for The Leonard Morse Hospital and Controller, The Memorial Hospital.
Mr Robinson is serving on, or has been involved as a Fellow with Healthcare Financial Management Association, Florida Hospital Association CFO Forum, Health Management Academy-CFO Council and the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Oren Wyatt, is Senior Vice President of Financial Services for Carolinas HealthCare System in Charlotte, NC. Mr. Wyatt’s responsibilities include Revenue Cycle activities for 28 owned, leased & managed hospitals, approximately 1,200 physicians, including 150 faculty physicians and numerous affiliated clinics. He previously served as Senior Vice President and Principal for a healthcare consulting and outsourcing firm and Senior Manager for a Public Accounting firm.
