Verne Singleton has been a healthcare executive for over 30 years in a variety of settings. Since 2008 Verne has been the C.E.O. at the Eating Disorder Center of Denver. The Eating Disorder Center provides outpatient and partial hospitalization services to adults with all types of eating disorders. Prior to this Verne have been the EVP and Chief Operating Officer at National Jewish Health in Denver, CO , the Chief Operating Officer at the University Medical Center, Tucson, AZ and the Assistant Hospital Director at the University Hospital and Clinics, Columbia, MO. Verne has a Masters degree in healthcare administration from the University of Missouri – Columbia and a Bachelors degree in economics from the University of Minnesota. Verne has been a member, Director, and Program Committee Chair of the Colorado Chapter of HFMA for the past ten years.

Ellen E. Stewart, MSHA, JD, FHFMA is a shareholder in the law firm of Berenbaum Weinshienk, PC. She preactices exclusively in the area of healthcare law representing hospitals, health systems and physician practices. She holds a Masters of Science in Health Administration as well as a juris doctor in law. Ms Stewart is a fellow in HFMA and has held numerous chapter and national leadership roles. She is a frequent speaker on health care topics.
