Joan Plisko, PhD, Technical Director, Maryland Hospitals for a Healthy Environment
Joan Plisko, PhD is the Technical Director of Maryland Hospitals for a Healthy Environment (MD H2E). She provides technical assistance to hospitals statewide in developing and implementing environmental management programs. Areas of expertise include waste management, toxics reduction, as well as resource conservation and policy development. Prior to joining the MD H2E team, Joan provided environmental policy and information management services to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Joan received a Ph.D. in Environmental Systems Engineering from Clemson University an M.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia and a B.S. in Commerce and Engineering from Drexel University.

Victoria Stewart is the Business Director for 31 Operating Rooms and 6 Endoscopy Suites at University of Maryland Medical Center. She is the Co-Chair of UMMC Green Team. MBA from Loyola College in MD
