Debbie Schrubb directs all aspects of medical records management for the four acute care hospitals and one adolescent behavioral health hospital that make up Kettering Health Network in Kettering, Ohio. Her major focus is on unbilled accounts receivable, APC management, and medical record operational process improvement, as well as active involvement in the organization’s revenue cycle management initiatives. Prior to joining Kettering Health, she was Audit Coordinator for Miami Valley Hospital, where she managed billing audit activities, including review and correction of rejected claims and chargemaster maintenance. Previously, Ms. Schrubb was Regional Director for QuadraMed, overseeing consulting engagements with large health systems and also served as Health Information Director for several healthcare organizations in Ohio. She received a B.S. in Medical Record Administration from Ohio State University and an M.S. in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University.
