Human Factors and Ergonomics can identify characteristics of equipment, environments and activities that can explain and guide attractions in modifying human performance to create safer parks and procedures. This workshop will illustrate key lessons using examples related to rider warnings, rider behavior/error, restraints, control panel design, ride inspection, and other facets of amusement ride safety.
