Conceiving and producing new attractions for zoos, aquariums, and theme parks requires the cooperative effort of many design consultants. Predicting the costs to develop and construct those new attractions requires great expertise, collaboration, and the ability to “see around the design corners. This session will explore the step-by-step process of how to assemble a team of experts with different skills to estimate construction costs, discuss the best construction contractor arrangement, and explore a casestudy for rebranding a park with little capital investment.
