This session will inform the audience about several new ‘consumer’ technologies with increasing use by individuals. We will look at these ‘consumer technologies’ in a new light with a discussion and demonstration on how they can be used to provide better service, open access to new markets, lower costs, improve customer access, and to improve operations flexibility.   I will conduct a walk-through of multimedia-related projects in Avaya related to these topic areas to demonstrate the possible uses of the technology and their possible economic advantages. Audience members will be offered the opportunity followup discussions on trial opportunities.
