LEARNER OUTCOMES:

Dialog Designer is not just the application development environment for Voice Portal and Avaya Interactive Response, but also is used for Intelligent Customer Routing and Proactive Outreach Manager. Its role will continue to evolve and is increasingly pivotal to call center capabilities at Avaya. This session will be divided into two main parts. Part A: Voice Portal Primer - This portion will provide an overview of Voice Portal and it's components including: why and how are customers are using it, how it works, reliability and failover, etc. Part B Hands On - This portion will provide an overview of Dialog Designer. Dialog Designer is a visual development environment that enables rapid prototyping and application generation without explicit coding. It is based on the widely accepted Eclipse open-source development framework and can be used for applications with both Avaya Voice Portal as well as Avaya Interactive Response. This section will cover where to get the latest version of the software (at NO COST), how to install it and how to get started with simple applications so you can improve customer service and return on investment.
