Avaya Solution and Interoperability Test Lab

The Solution and Interoperability Test Lab (SIL) performs interoperability testing for Avaya products with 3rd party vendors. Interoperability encompasses multiple areas, including infrastructure (switches, routers, and wireless devices), endpoints (3rd party SIP endpoints and wireless endpoints), messaging (centralized messaging and 3rd party email clients), SIP trunking (session border controllers and Service Providers).
The DevConnect program is part of the SIL and enables 3rd party vendors to join the program to develop and test solutions that work with Avaya products. The SIL provides developer support as well as joint solution testing.
SIL outputs include application notes of configurations tested. Application Notes can be viewed by customers at the Avaya Support web site. They can also be searched through public engines such as Google and Yahoo.
The SIL has labs in Colorado, and New Jersey, USA; Dublin, Ireland; Frankfurt, Germany; and Singapore.
Poonam Verma is a Senior Technical Manager in the Solution Interoperability Test Lab, where she is leading a team responsible for testing Avaya product interoperability with 3rd party products. She has been with Avaya since 2005 and has over 20 years of experience with emphasis in testing. She has managed all aspects of testing from lab configuration (networking, server installation/setup) to test schedules/strategies/plans. Many of her projects involved integration across products in highly complex environments. She has been engaged with key Avaya Financial Services Customers on various Avaya products and solutions implemented in customer environments.
