LEARNER OUTCOMES:
The days of separate authentication silos for data vs voice is a thing of the past. Functionality within UC products allows for digital certificate, LDAP and Active Directory integration to reduce the complexity while increasing security.
During this session we will focus on the 802.1X endpoint authentication to the network and the H.323 / SIP based authentication to Communication Manager and Session Manager. We will also look at how authentication databases can be leveraged for administrator authentication by tying into an Active Directory / LDAP server.
