Brian Gilman is a Global Director of Enterprise Solutions at Polycom, responsible for developing industry specific strategies to increase collaboration throughout various Enterprise industry sectors and functional lines of business. Specifically, Brian is responsible for the finance, oil/gas/energy, professional services, and entertainment industries. Brian comes to Polycom with a highly qualified background, most recently from Dimension Data where he was Director of Solutions Marketing, IP Convergence. Previously, Brian also held various Senior Marketing Manager and Research Analyst positions at Avaya. As Senior Technology Analyst at eMarketer, a NYC research firm, Brian’s research on the broadband industry and Asian Internet Usage was published and cited by US Internet Council, Business 2.0, Bloomberg Radio, LA Times, Copley Press, Rediff.com, ZDTV, FamilyPC magazine, BusinessWire, and various online content sites. Brian began his career in finance at Broadview Associates, a leading Information Technology M&A bank. In this role he was the Company lead for in-depth research of all North American, Asian, and Australian Information Technology M&A activity with a concentration in telecom and media.
