LEARNER OUTCOMES:
As Nortel and AVAYA have recently adopted the support of SIP-compatible endpoints for their SMB, Enterprise, and Service Provider VoIP network solutions, users now have additional options when deploying VoIP phones. VoIP phones can comprise up to 40% or more of VoIP network deployment costs, therefore, additional choices of desktop VoIP phones place users in a better position to cost-effectively deploy the proper desktop VoIP phones for their users –back office workers, call center agents, remote offices, Teleworkers, and ‘Road Warriors’. Participants will learn about all VoIP phone offerings for their use on their Nortel, AVAYA, and most any SIP-compatible VoIP network – both proprietary VoIP and SIP. Participants will also gain a better understanding of how to leverage current and future VoIP network investments through the deployment of network agnostic, SIP phones – for use today and on tomorrow’s VoIP network.
