Maureen Stapleton Kersmarki is the Regional Director of Government & Public Affairs for Florida Hospital and Adventist Health System.
With 21 years at Florida Hospital, Maureen oversees local, state and national government and public policy efforts for Florida Hospital and 38 other Adventist Health System hospitals in 10 states. These efforts include a strong focus on relationship-building and stakeholder development.
Maureen has extensive experience in hospital public relations and issues management, and one of her crisis communication efforts was featured in SSHMD's "Crisis Communications in Healthcare: Managing Difficult Times Effectively." She led the Marketing & PR teams for three hospital acquisitions and Florida Hospital Celebration Health, a partnership with the Disney Company. She has presented at many state and national meetings.
