Carrie Rager is a planning and marketing executive with 20 years of broad ranging experience in diversified health care companies with product line structures. Ms. Rager possesses executive level experience in strategic planning, branding, public relations, market research, and customer service initiatives. Ms Rager has an advanced degree in economics and has taught college level courses in marketing, advertising and market research.

Anthony Roesch is a licensed architect and experienced planner with over 20 years experience in strategic facility planning, specializing in trends in System configuration and the programming and operational planning of healthcare facilities. He has completed over thirty hospital projects throughout the country ranging in size from large teaching hospitals to community medical centers. Mr. Roesch brings a unique approach to strategic, operational, and capital planning through the use of sophisticated space modeling and operational analysis. Mr. Roesch is a presenter on national healthcare design and planning forums.

Examine lessons learned from an actual planning process for a large healthcare system, demonstrating the planning process and techniques used to develop an integrated business and facility strategy. Explore an interactive model that integrates data and scenario planning and can be integrated graphically, as well as, statistically. The model will allow you to assess the implications of changing market, case mix, volume, and strategic assumptions on facility size and configuration with the relative impact of dynamic market and institutional environment.
